This paper analyzes the demonstrating effects of agricultural cooperatives on operative services, demographic management and food stay construction, using data of 641 cooperatives collected from 12 counties in 8 provinces in China. The Inverse Probability Weighted Regression Adjustment model is used for empirical analysis. The results show that relative to non-demonstrating cooperatives, demonstrating agricultural cooperatives are performing significantly better in terms of operative services, demographic management and food stay construction
