Plasmid DNA vaccines which encode selected antigenic proteins direct protein expression in mammalian cells after vaccination. The use of DNA vaccines has been shown to be a promising approach to induce specific humoral and cellular immune responses against various pathogens, such as parasites. In this study, three experiments were carried out to evaluate the immune responses of DNA vaccines to Haemonchus contortus (H. contortus) and Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) in sheep.
