In this talk, I will consider the relationship between the ethics of care and wittgensteinian ethics, with a focus on the question of education. I will follow the line inaugurated by Sandra Laugier about the fruitful connection between Ordinary Language Philosophy and the ethics of care. I will propose to distinguish two different lines within care ethics about moral education through the lens of wittgenstenian approaches, in particular Stanley Cavell’s moral perfectionism and other authors along this line
