Objective To evaluate the performance of screening for pre-eclampsia by uterine artery pulsatility index (PI) at 11 + 0 to 13 + 6 weeks gestation and the change in uterine artery PI between 11 + 0 to 13 + 6 and 2 1 + 0 to 24 + 6 weeks. Methods In 3 107 singleton pregnancies attending for routine care at 11 + 0 to 13 + 6 and 21 + 0 to 24 + 6 weeks gestation we recorded maternal characteristics and medical and obstetric history, and measured uterine artery PI.
