This introduction starts with a brief outline of the research field of forensic/legal psychology, followed by a description of the international doctoral program that stands behind this volume-the House of Legal Psychology. The program, which started in September 2013 and finished in September 2020, has provided graduate students from around the world a unique opportunity to start a career in forensic/legal psychology with ideal conditions for conducting and learning about research while working with experts in the field.
