Machining of components for hydraulics

The main motivation of this final thesis is the draft and verification of the interchangeability of grinding technology for a more efficient machining method, namely the technology of precise turning. The aim is to reduce the production costs of one of the components of the hydraulic assembly. The introductory chapter is devoted to the analysis of the manufactured component and its application, the analysis of the current manufacturing process and the justification of the proposed interchangeability. The subsequent theoretical part is designed so that the summarized knowledge can be used in the practical part. Its content is the design of the machine tool, cutting tools, cutting and process conditions, the method of clamping the semi-finished product, the machining cycle and the time standard. At the end of the practical part there is a technical and economic evaluation of the precision turning process, focusing on the quality of the machined surface, dimensional stability, roundness stability and evaluation of time and cost savings. The conclusion of the thesis is a brief summary of the findings and results of the proposed process and its subsequent implementation
