Add to ORKGThis bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of a steel structure of a sports hall located in Brno. The floor plan dimensions are 26x62 m. The height of the structure at the top of the flat roof is 11.1 m. The structure consists of 11 main frames made of truss girders with a span of 26 m, which are hinged on columns. The spacing of the main frames is 6 m each. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured in the transverse direction by the fixing of the columns and in the longitudinal direction by the transverse and one longitudinal bracing. The chosen structural material is S355 steel. The cladding consists of Kingspan sandwich panels
