This diploma thesis is based on concepts of positive psychology and deals with the topic of well-being. The approaches of positive psychology and development of this psychological specialization as well as the concept of well-being are presented in the first part of the thesis. In addition to the Harvard approach to well-being, special attention is paid to the new theory of well-being, which was created by Martin Seligman and expended by Scott I. Donaldson and Stewart I. Donaldson. Specifically, this thesis focuses on well-being of a specific group, which is university students.
