In order to ensure the sustainability of the Ecuadorian shrimp industry and its alignment with the environment, efforts are being made to reduce or efficiently utilize the cultivation areas for Pacific white shrimp. Two approaches stand out: improving FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio) and intensifying pond production. To achieve this, farms are reconfiguring cultivation areas, creating nursery channels and ponds to accelerate fattening and increase production cycles.
