Introduction: Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) is a chronic condition that affects an increasing proportion of the global population. Proper management is essential to prevent severe complications, including cardiovascular disease and kidney damage. Objective: This article reviews the current literature on novel pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies for treating T2DM.
