Ambiente de lectura para fortalecer el proceso de aprendizaje en los estudiantes de básica elemental

The objective of this research was to design a didactic guide on the good use of the reading environment to strengthen the learning process of elementary school students of "Arco Iris" Educational Unit. This research was carried out under a descriptive research level with a quantitative-qualitative approach. The population was composed by 1 manager, 6 teachers and 30 students. Theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used. The results reflected that reading environments are important in the classroom and facilitate the teaching-learning process in a significant way, but in this case, adequate strategies that promote the development of abilities and skills in students are not always applied. In addition, with the application of the observation sheet, it was possible to show that children maintain their skills started in a high percentage, making necessary to apply activities that lead to a better use of reading environments, taking into account that the initiative of achieving this purpose is in the performance of teachers being an important part of the learning process of students. It is inferred then that the good use of the reading environment favors students’ learning and the development of cognitive skills.La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo diseñar una guía didáctica en el buen uso del ambiente de lectura para fortalecer el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de básica elemental de la Unidad Educativa “Arco Iris”.  Esta investigación se realizó bajo un nivel de investigación de tipo descriptiva con enfoque de tipo cuantitativa – cualitativa. La población estuvo formada por 1 directivo, 6 docentes y 30 estudiantes. Se utilizaron los métodos teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos. Los resultados reflejaron que los ambientes de lectura son importantes en las aulas de clases y facilitan el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de una manera significativa, pero en este caso no siempre se aplican estrategias adecuadas que fomenten el desarrollo de las habilidades y destrezas en los estudiantes. Además, con la aplicación de la ficha de observación se logró evidenciar que los niños mantienen iniciadas sus destrezas en un alto porcentaje, siendo necesario la aplicación de actividades que conlleven a un mejor uso de los ambientes de lectura, teniendo en cuenta que la iniciativa para alcanzar este propósito está en el desempeño de los docentes siendo parte importante del proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Se infiere entonces que el buen uso del ambiente de lectura favorece el aprendizaje de los estudiantes y el desarrollo de las destrezas cognitivas
