El Impacto de las Políticas Crediticias en el Ecuador.

The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of credit policy in Ecuador. For this, a documentary review was carried out, the impact of credit policies in Ecuador on financial institutions was analyzed. With all this, it was sought to respond to the following hypothesis: Credit policy has generated an impact on Ecuador's production and economy. The methodology applied was the comprehensive interpretative method, descriptive research and bibliographic research to analyze quantitative and qualitative information and data. With the results it was possible to verify and respond to the hypothesis, establishing that the credit policy impacts the economy and production of Ecuador because through the different financial institutions of the country generates dynamism and welfare to society, however, there are economic variables such as the Gross Domestic Product, unemployment, economic crisis, the price of oil,  country risk, fall in remittances, external indebtedness, among other factors that influence the way the financial system exercises these policies, as in the case of the public sector that there is a high delinquency rate of 135%, while the private sector despite the crises and external variables remains stable, proving to be a solid and strengthened bank. Therefore, it is concluded that the Ecuadorian Organic Monetary and Financial Code needs to provide all the possibilities for the financial system to improve continuously, through the application of technical control and supervision mechanisms in matters of credit, balance sheet and investment.El objetivo del trabajo fue analizar el impacto de la política crediticia en el Ecuador. Para esto se realizó una revisión documental, se analizó el impacto de las políticas crediticias en el Ecuador en las instituciones financieras. Con todo esto se buscó dar respuesta a la siguiente hipótesis: La política crediticia ha generado impacto en la producción y economía del Ecuador. La metodología aplicada fue el método comprensivo interpretativo, la investigación descriptiva y la investigación bibliográfica para analizar la información y datos cuantitativos como cualitativos. Con los resultados se logró constatar y dar respuesta a la hipótesis, estableciendo que la política crediticia impacta la economía y producción del Ecuador porque a través de las diferentes instituciones financieras del país genera dinamismo y bienestar a la sociedad, sin embargo, existen variables económicas como el Producto Interno Bruto, desempleo, crisis económica, el precio del petróleo, riesgo país, caída de remesas, endeudamiento externo, entre otros factores que influyen en la manera que el sistema financiero ejerce dichas políticas, como en el caso del sector público que existe un alto índice de morosidad de 135%, mientras que el sector privado a pesar de las crisis y variables externas se mantiene estable, demostrando ser una banca sólida y fortalecida. Por lo que se concluye que el Código Orgánico Monetario y Financiero ecuatoriano necesita brindar todas las posibilidades para que el sistema financiero mejore continuamente, mediante la aplicación de mecanismos técnicos de control y supervisión en temas de créditos, balance e inversión
