The objective of the research was to determine iron deficiency anemia and urinary tract infections in pregnant women. Narrative design, descriptive type. The search for scientific articles was carried out in databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Redalyc and Medigraphic, where the MeSH terms were used. The use of the Boolean “and” was also used. Por otra parte, las infecciones urinarias son las que ocurren en el aparato urinario, el cual incluye la vejiga y la uretra, particularmente. Los cambios producidos en el sistema urinario durante el embarazo conllevan principalmente al desarrollo de infecciones por cualquier patógeno, en caso de existir alguna complicación, esta puede poner en riesgo la salud de ambas partes, como resultado el bebé podrá nacer prematuro o la madre podrá generar hipertensión. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar anemia ferropénica e infecciones urinarias en embarazadas. Diseño narrativo, tipo descriptivo. Se realizó la búsqueda de artículos científicos en bases de datos como PubMed, Google Académico, Redalyc y Medigraphic, donde se utilizaron los términos MeSH. También se empleó el uso del boleano “and”. Entre los resultados destacados de la investigación están que, las causas de anemia más comunes presentadas en embarazadas se puede destacar el vivir en zonas marginales y bajos ingresos con un 57.32%, con un 51.6% fue la obesidad, el bajo peso y vivir en zonas rurales
