Intestinal parasites represent a public health problem in the world, ranking among the ten leading causes of death, especially in developing countries; They affect all social classes and cause significant morbidity. In Ecuador, the various symptoms and manifestations of parasitosis constitute the first ten causes of pediatric consultation. The objective of this research was to analyze the situational study of parasitosis worldwide. The type of research study is bibliographic. In order to obtain this information, platforms such as PubMed, SciELO, Redalyc, Medigraphic were used.
