Estrés y su impacto durante la pandemia covid-19.

In the year 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public life was massively restricted, including a complete ban on face-to-face learning/teaching in schools and universities. In a short period of time, the population adapted to digital and online systems. Academic and private life was affected by the impact of the norms of social contact and hygiene. For this bibliographic study, 25 scientific articles were analyzed that were the structural basis of the research obtained from Scielo, PubMed and Redalyc, whose objective is to analyze stress and its impact during the COVID-19 pandemic. The most relevant results indicated that, during the pandemic period, between 10 and 30% of the general public expressed significant fears of contracting the disease. Due to confinement, an increase in negative emotions and the level of psychiatric morbidity were reported. In China, one of the places where the virus theoretically originated, found that among 1,210 respondents, 53.8% rated the psychological impact of the outbreak as moderate or severe, 16.5% reported moderate to severe depressive symptoms, 28. 8% reported moderate to severe anxiety symptoms and 8.1% reported moderate to severe stress levels. In conclusion, the study reveals psychological variables related to COVID-19. While social distancing may have made people feel safer, it also increased their feelings of isolation, stress, and frustration, causing difficulties in their daily lives.En el año 2020, debido a la pandemia de COVID-19, la vida pública se restringió masivamente, incluida la prohibición total del aprendizaje/enseñanza presencial en las escuelas y universidades. En un corto período de tiempo, la población se adaptó  a sistemas digitales y en línea. La vida académica y privada se afectó por el impacto de las normas de contacto social e higiene. Para este estudio bibliográfico se analizaron 25 artículos científicos que fueron la base estructural de la investigación obtenidos de Scielo, PubMed y Redalyc, cuyo objetivo es  analizar el estrés y su impacto durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Los resultados más relevantes indicaron que, durante la época de pandemia entre el 10 y el 30 % del público en general manifestó temores importantes de contraer la enfermedad. A causa del confinamiento, se reportaron aumento en las emociones negativas y el nivel de morbilidad psiquiátrica. En China uno de los lugares donde se originó en teoría el virus encontró que entre 1210 encuestados, el 53,8 % calificó el impacto psicológico del brote como moderado o grave, el 16,5 % informó síntomas depresivos moderados a graves, el 28,8 % informó síntomas de ansiedad moderados a graves y el 8,1% reportó niveles de estrés moderados a severos. En conclusión, el estudio revela  variables psicológicas relacionadas con COVID-19. Si bien el distanciamiento social pudo hacer que las personas se sientan más seguras, también se aumentaron sus sentimientos de aislamiento, estrés y frustración hasta causar dificultades en su vida cotidiana
