Research Methodology Demystified

Research methodology is a theoretically grounded, well-articulated approach to data generation. It alludes to the research and evaluation of data generation methods. People’s decision about research methodologies is influenced by their "strategy, plan of action, process, or design" (Crotty, 2020). It is focused on the topic of how a specific research project should be carried out. It assists the researcher in determining the kind of data needed for a study and the most suitable data-gathering methods to achieve that study's objectives.
