The infection by Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) can be related to the occurrence of carcinomas and MALT lymphomas, while the latent infection by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is associated both to gastric epithelial malignant neoplasias as to lymphomatous gastric epithelial neoplasias.
