The study aimed to analyze antibiotic resistance determinants in a carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae by whole-genome sequencing (WGS). K. pneumoniae was isolated from a urine sample and it was characterized by 16S rDNA sequencing in Turkey. This strain was named as Kpn Rize-53-TR. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was performed for seventeen antibiotics by VITEK-2 and the result was confirmed by MIC. The whole genome of isolate was sequenced by lllumina and was analysed by bioinformatic tools for MIST, replicon types, and antimicrobial resistance genes.
