To know the potentials of own library and make best use of library resources it is necessary to know the information seeking behavior of the readers against varied information sources at par with readers information needs. This study investigates the information needs and information seeking behavior of undergraduate students of different senior colleges. It is observed from the study that among the various information resources, ‘book’ is found to be the first priority by 72.34% of students and 59.90% students visit library to issue text book of their domain. 41.13% of students opined that they got desired information sources from the Library after consultation with library staff.
