The field of strategic HRM has experienced substantial expansion in recent years. By doing a meta-review—a review of the reviews that have covered various aspects of strategic HRM—this article synthesizes the literature in this area. The authors also analyze current trends in the study of strategic HRM while highlighting conceptual frameworks and empirical results from studies conducted in the area over the previous three decades, pointing out methodological problems and difficulties in the earlier research. The author offers a meta-review of a few intriguing literature and significant directions for further research as a conclusion
