The damsel bug genus Alloeorhynchus Fieber, 1860 (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Nabidae, Prostemmatinae, Prostemmatini) comprises at least 50 species worldwide, and seven species have been recorded from East Asia. In Japan, two species, A. (Alloeorhynchus) reinhardi Kerzhner & Günther, 1999 and A. (A.) vinulus Stål, 1864, are currently known. In this study, A. (A.) notatus Distant, 1919 is reported in Japan for the first time. A geographical color variation of A. (A.) vinulus is reported based on specimens collected from Kume Island in the Ryukyu Islands
