Motivation is universal. It affects everyone and anyone who manages others' needs to make sure that they are using it appropriately. There are many different theories that mangers need to have, at least, a basic understanding of. The review of these theories and application is important to obtaining and retaining a workforce that is both productive and happy. I am going to give an introduction to many of the different types of motivation theories and how they work. I am then going to analyze these to apply them to human resources and management in general and give my take on what I believe is the best approach to take towards motivation in today's workplace.Thesis (B.?.)Honors Colleg
