Perfectionism comes in a variety of forms. At times it can be beneficial to a person’s level of achievement, but often, it can be a large obstacle standing in the path of success. Far too often, in academic settings, students with high standards and students who struggle are thought of as mutually exclusive groups. This, however, is not the case. By presenting a collaborative in-service at our own Ball State Learning Center and crafting a research paper, I aim to educate my peers about the many faces of perfectionism.
