Nuclear medicine is increasingly interested in the theranostic approach, which integrates diagnostic tools into therapeutic strategies. In nuclear oncology, this approach is based on the use of targeting molecules specific to the tumour or its microenvironment, associated with radionuclides, which according to their emission properties, make it possible to combine diagnosis by radioisotope molecular imaging (PET or SPECT) and targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT).
