Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) with superior mechanical, thermal, chemical, and electrical properties are appealing reinforcements for the fabrication of lightweight, high-strength, and wear-resistant metal matrix composites with outstanding mechanical and tribological performance.
