Woolf: A Room of One’s Own

This lecture on Virginia Woolf\u27s A Room of One\u27s Own, delivered at Lawrence University on January 28, 2000, was designed for students and faculty in the college\u27s Freshman Studies program. Freshman Studies, a multidisciplinary introduction to the liberal arts, has been the cornerstone of the Lawrence curriculum for over fifty years. The lecturer, Wendy Nicholson, of Lawrence\u27s History department is an expert on women\u27s history and holds the Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. In 1998, Nicholson won Lawrence\u27s Outstanding Young Teacher Award
