LEXIS - revue de lexicologie anglaise, thème « Lexique, sensations, perceptions et émotions

The aim of Lexis – Journal in English Lexicology, an online journal with an international scientific committee (ISSN 1951-6215), is to publish articles about the English lexicon with 2 annual thematic issues, as well as a “book review” section and some special issues (conference proceedings), from a synchronic as well as from a diachronic perspective. Lexis – Journal in English Lexicology is indexed in Scopus, MIAR, Mir@bel, Sherpa/Romeo, Isidore, Google Scholar, Journal TOCs, EuroPub, the Directory of Open Access Journals, WorldCat, etc. and evaluated in DOAJ and ERIHPlus. Researchers from various countries world-wide (Algeria, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malaysia, Palestinian Territories, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, USA, Wales) have contributed to Lexis – Journal in English Lexicology since 2008.Lexis is hosted by the Centre d’Études Linguistiques – Corpus, Discours et Sociétés (CEL – Linguistics Research Center) at the University of Lyon (Jean Moulin Lyon 3) led by Prof. Denis Jamet. If the principal aim of the journal is the study of the English lexicon (its formation, its morphology, its evolution, its links with society, with culture, etc.), the journal could also focus on the links between lexicology and morphology, phonology, syntax, stylistics, etc. Contrastive studies – especially with French – can also be dealt with. The journal will accept articles in English and in French. Abstracts or articles are to be sent to the Head of publication at lexis@univ-lyon3.fr and will be double-blind peer-reviewed by two experts from the scientific committee. Proposals should contain bibliographical references, keywords (in French and in English), and an abstract (5.000 characters maximum)
