In order to better understand the teachers knowledge about the Multiplication field, this work aims at mapping and analyzing the types of multiplication problems produced by the teachers of a Cearense Elementary school. In one of the data collecting instrument, each of the 15 teachers had to create six problems envolving multiplication and / or division. As category of analysis, the problem-situations classified by Magina, Merlini e Santos (2016) were utilized.
