Cracking is a process used in the petrochemical industry to desalinate white gasoline. This process is one of the main methods in converting crude oil into useful fuels such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and kerosene. Heat cracking, catalytic cracking, hydrocracking and steam cracking are the most common types of cracking methods in the industry. This process is performed either at high temperature and pressure without catalyst or at low temperature and low pressure in the presence of catalyst. The main source of large hydrocarbons is kerosene or gasoline fragments in the fractional distillation process of crude oil. These oil slices are obtained in liquid form from the distillation process, but are re-evaporated before the cracking process...
