The GIS4Schools training package is the first output of the GIS4Schools Erasmus + project, it has been conceived by the Politecnico di Milano, in agreement with the Professors of the secondary schools and the other partner’s involved in the project's implementation. For its elaboration, many factors have been taken into consideration to facilitate the transfer of knowledge to the high schools' professors: Professors’ background; 2) Professors’ professional experience; 3) English level; 4) School type; 5) Professors’ skills to deploy GIS applications in their courses; 6) Professors’ IT competences; 7) Infrastructure of the schools in which the Professors are employed in terms of effective use of GIS in their courses.
