Recommendations to mainstream citizen science in policy

The ACTION recommendations to mainstream citizen science in policy provides recommendations for the mainstreaming of citizen science for policymakers, policy workers, citizen science actors, and scientists, in this way capturing the broader policy ecosystem within which citizen science initiatives are embedded. It provides both, (1) specific recommendations specific to five EuropeanEU countries: Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain & UK; and (2) general recommendations on themes that emerged from the recommendations across those five countries
