The article discusses the method of psychological assistance – body-oriented therapy. The article presents the features, advantages and disadvantages of this method. A large place in the work is occupied by the consideration of the varieties of psychological methods that are part of body-oriented therapy. The work reflects the development of issues of the organization of classes in body-oriented therapy as a method of psychological assistance to the individual. At the heart of all these methods is an indissoluble association of the psycho-emotional state of a person and his bodily shell. They use all kinds of options for the therapist's contact with the patient's body: massage, touching, pressing, breath control
