Presentation given at the Thuringian RDM-Days 2021 "Data documentation: A love note to the future!". In this presentation, we describe the type of research done at SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research and how we assist researchers with creating a reproduction package for their papers. One key tool in this approach is an open data template that guides the researcher through the process. We describe and explain the open data template for potential other users in the research community
