Introduction: Cicatricial alopecias are a group of disorders characterized by hair follicle destruction with the consequence of permanent hair loss. The current study was conducted to evaluate the epidemiological and clinicopathological characteristics of cicatricial alopecia in Libyan community. Methods: Thirty-one patients with confirmed diagnosis of cicatricial alopecia by biopsy and tricoscopy during Jan 2018 to Dec 2019 were included in this study. Data were collected by filling a pre-designed questionnaire by all included patients. Descriptive statistics were used for analyzing the results.
