EE-Monitor - Monitoring for a nature-friendly energy transition in Germany

https://ee-monitor.de Accelerating the expansion of renewable energy while protecting the climate and biodiversity requires an energy transition that is compatible with people and nature. In this context, the EE-Monitor provides information on the expansion of renewable energy in Germany from an environmental perspective. Based on research results from the fields of energy and environmental research, it provides comprehensive information on the environmentally friendly expansion of renewable energies, the location of renewable energy plants or energy-related aspects. The EE-Monitor currently provides two web applications that offer data-based access to the nature-compatible expansion of renewable energies in Germany. Firstly, a monitoring set with 41 indicators that can be used to show the nature compatibility of the expansion on a supra-regional and region-specific basis.
