This archive contains the technical implementation of a new probabilistic version of NEMO based on version 4.0 (NEMO website: https://www.nemo-ocean.eu). This includes two components: (i) stochastic parameterizations, to simulate uncertainties in the model (using the algorithm described in Brankart et al., 2015), and (ii) ensemble simulations, with several members running simultaneously in parallel within a single executable (and interacting if needed), as introduced in Bessières et al. (2017). The implementation is kept generic, but the stochastic parameterizations are here focused on uncertainties in the ecosystem component, consistently with the objectives of the SEAMLESS project.
