FUNDAMENTALS OF ENUNCIATIONAL LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS: HUMBOLDT, BAKHTIN, FRANCHI AND THE QUESTION OF THE STRICTLY LINGUISTIC

In this paper, we deal with the fundamentals of Enunciative Linguistic Analysis (ALE), a Brazilian theoretical-methodological proposal designed to be used in language teaching-learning processes. We aimed to analyze the fundamental theoretical-methodological propositions of the ALE, aiming at their articulation with Bakhtinian thought, in order to contribute to the redefinition of the orientation of the ALE. Methodologically, it is a qualitative bibliographical study. The theoretical foundation starts from studies of discursive-enunciative linguistics and the approach of language as a constitutive activity of thought and knowledge. As a result of the study, a reflection emerges on the affiliation of Bakhtinians and ALE proponents to the ideas of Humboldtian tradition, and also a discussion on the limitations of the proposals studied in relation to the strictly grammatical. Thus, based on the results and discussions presented, it is concluded that the re-significations in the theoretical-methodological guidelines of ALE, composed of complex scientific knowledge that underlie pedagogical postures, raise the understanding and projection of ALE activities at school, as well as the treatment to be given to grammar itself, both in basic education and in higher education
