The process such as reverse osmosis and dialysis which are not only the energy intensive but also it is uneconomical for small demand of fresh water, hence these process are called as conventional distillation process; However the usage of solar energy have shown that it is highly used for desalination in the area of small demand of fresh water and it’s economical too.
