Libraries and information centres have been created to realize that marketing of information products and services are an integral part of the administration, especially for reader’s satisfaction at their expected level. Keeping this in view, the study reveals all the processes and strategies that can be involved while practising the marketing of information products and services. Moreover, it investigates the purpose, usability and actual use of Web 2.0 for the marketing and promotion of library services and resources.
