Probabilistic theory of mechanical erosion

The monograph is devoted to the development of a General methodological scheme of probabilistic evaluation and prediction of structural erosion, which is based on the statistical theory of erosion proposed by the author. The main probability patterns of mechanical erosion destruction and wear of the surface of materials and natural structures are considered. The results of full-scale inspection of various types of eroded equipment, analysis of statistical information on the cases of wear of its elements and the impact on the process of wear of structural, mode and material factors are presented. The calculation and empirical concept of erosion as a probability-statistical phenomenon, principles and General structure of the construction of a unified probability theory are proposed.
