Outcome of renal revascularization in mid aortic syndrome due to takayasu arteritis

Aim: To study the outcome of Renal Revascularization in Mid Aortic syndrome due to Takayasu arteritis Materials: Prospective study of 5 cases (Women 2013 – 2014 at Vascular surgery investigations, 64 slice CT Angiogram pressure and Number of antihypertensive drugs required to control 1 patient had Aortic aneurysm with Renal artery stenosis where as others had Aorto Iliac occlusion with Renal artery stenosis. 2 patients had Aorto biiliac bypass, 1 pt had Aorto uniiliac bypass patch. 1 patient underwent left Nephrectomy with Aorto renal graft bypass and 3 pts underwent Reversed Long Saphenous Vein (RLSV) bypass for renal artery stenosis. All withstood the procedure without any mortality. patients of Mid Aortic syndrome due to Takayasu arteritis in terms of improvement in renal function and reduction of antihypertensive drugs.
