The FAIR principles provide guidance for improving Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability of digital resources. There is a distinct need to explore whether original FAIR principles can be applied to research information and what is needed to make research information FAIR. In the Ukrainian-German cooperation project FAIRIO ("FAIR research Information in Open infrastructures") we conducted a series of online workshops with experts on research information and FAIR Guiding Principles we discussed each of the FAIR principles on their viability for scholarly metadata.
