These are Scanning Electron Micrographs (SEMs) accompanying the ms titled "Paleozoic origins of cheilostome bryozoans and parental care inferred by a new genome-skimmed phylogeny". These SEM cards include basic metadata of the bryozoan specimens which can also be found in more detail in Table S1 of the ms. The vast majority of the specimens imaged here are deposited at the Natural History Museum, University of Oslo, Oslo, Norway (accession numbers can be found in Table S1). All of these specimens have a selection of their sequences deposited in NCBI
