The American Cancer Society estimates that 60,050 cases of endometrial cancer will be diagnosed in 2016 and that 10,470 will die from endometrial cancer during 2016. Since 1988, incidence rates have increased by 1.3 per cent per year for women under 50 and by 1.9 per cent per year. In women age 50 and older, uterine cancers are usually treated with surgery, radiation, hormones, and/or chemotherapy. Uterine cancer is the most common form of gynecologic cancer.
