Eating disorders are disorders in eating or eating-related behavior that cause changes in the consumption or absorption of food, compromising the physical and psychological health of individuals. Diagnostic criteria for eating disorders are described: pica, rumination disorder, restrictive eating disorder, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder.
