Introduction: adiponectin is a cytokine secreted into the adipocytes, which produces an anti-inflammatory effect in metabolism. Objective: to determine the serum concentrations of adiponectin and ultrasensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in adolescents and their relationship with anthropometric variables.
