Abstract: This study examined the effect of Government Expenditure on Education on economic growth of Nigeria. Data for the analysis were extracted from annual series of the selected relevant macroeconomic variables from 1999 to 2020. Data for government expenditure on education were used as public expenditure variable while real gross domestic product was used as economic growth variable. Regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis, the findings of this study upholds that there is a positive and significant effect between government expenditure on education and RGDP at 5% level of significance.
