In the present study Silver nanoparticles were synthesized from aqueous seaweed extract of seaweeds such as of green Halimeda macroloba, brown Turbinaria conoides, and red Spyridia filamentosa and characterized by UV-Vis, FTIR, EDX, XRD and SEM. Characterization by the above said instrument analysis confirmed the presence,size and stability of silver nanoparticles.After characterization, the silver nanoparticles were tested at 25μg-ml,50μg-ml,75μg-ml and 100μg-ml concentrations to check the bactericidal activity against selected two poultry bacterial pathogens.
