Bachelor's research paper on: Every year during monsoon, most cities in India face the problem of Urban Flooding or wa- ter-logging in colloquial language. The consequent traffic jams and inundation in low-lying areas adversely affect property and pace of the city life. The aim of this paper is to study the drainage system of Delhi to find the defects in the drainage system and correlation of water- logging and urbanisation. Through this literature review the concepts of urban drainage sys- tem, urban flooding and the impact of urbanisation on both.
