Objectives of the study: The main objective of the study is to analyse the acute viral hepatitis in children among local population of Lahore. Material and methods: This cross sectional study was conducted in Nishtar Hospital, Multan during March 2019 to December 2019. The data was collected from both genders and the sample size is 100. The age range for this study was 6 months to 10 years. Detailed history was taken from all patients with special reference to duration of hepatitis, mode of infection, previous history of jaundice, HBV or HCV infection.
